Overseas Filipinos (OF) reintegration programs
The “Assist WELL” Program is a package of reintegration assistance/ services (Welfare, Employment, Legal, Livelihood) by the DOLE and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) to ensure the successful reintegration of OFWs returning to the country because of end of employment contract, decision to stay for goods, personal health reasons, and repatriation due to crisis. The reintegration programs aim to support returning OFWs in terms of financial management, enhancing skill set for better employment opportunities, and welfare.

The Reintegration Preparedness Program consists of preparing the OFWs while they are on-site through various reintegration preparedness training programs like capacity and techno-skills trainings, financial literacy training as well as mainstreaming them into the society upon their return to the country.

The reintegration programs correspond to Target 8.3 – Promote development-oriented policies that support productive activities, decent job creation, entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, and encourage the formalization and growth of micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises, including through access to financial services
