IFAD Country Strategic Opportunities Programme (COSOP), 2017-2022
International Fund for Agricultural Development’s (IFAD) approach in the Philippines is based on its global Strategic Framework 2016-2025, its rich and diverse programmatic and operational experiences in the country, and the objectives of the Government as articulated in the Philippines Development Plan 2017-2022. IFAD’s comparative advantage is its capability to provide global knowledge, best practices and innovations for rural transformation and sustained poverty reduction; and its ability to provide solutions for the inclusion of poor and vulnerable rural people in development pathways.
