Formulation of National Action Plan for Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) in the Philippines
This project by NEDA aims to develop a Philippine SCP Framework and Action Plan and assess how circular economy concept can be adopted in the Philippine context. The Action Plan aims to guide the implementation of SCP initiatives across sectors and also address the challenges in SCP implementation in the country, particularly fragmented SCP implementation, operational difficulty in downscaling of SCP approaches, and poor monitoring of implemented policies and programs. This project will directly contribute to the implementation of the SDG Target 12.1 Implement the 10-Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production Patterns. It will also contribute to implementation and achievement of other related SDGs (e.g., SDG2, 13, 14, 15)
