Advanced Sustainable Consumption and Production (2015-2018)
The Advanced Sustainable Consumption and Production (2015-2018), which is implemented by the DTI and assisted by GIZ and the United Nations, is a 153.9-million project that aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through the following measures: promotion of sustainable consumption and production (SCP) framework supportive of low carbon economies; identification and development of related SCP national mitigation actions; provision of incentives for producing more green goods; moving towards low-carbon economy through procurement policy, and moving towards low-carbon economy through specific standards. The project is implemented in line with the 10-year framework of programmes (10YFP) on SCP patterns.
